Register Early for PRE-CALS Conference, October 27-28, 2011

The Institute for Medical Quality’s 2012 PreCALS Conference will convene October 27-28, 2011 at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa Hotel in Costa Mesa, CA.

This conference will help you evaluate changes that are necessary to: implement new or revised accreditation and licensing requirements in clinical departments; determine appropriate actions to resolve challenges in granting privileges for telemedicine providers, aging physicians and those with low volume or no admissions; apply the leadership standards to their medical staff self-governance; evaluate your organizations’ status with the standards most frequently cited in California as non-compliant; guide preparation of your medical staffs for an unannounced survey.

The conference is a must for medical staff leadership and hospital personnel preparing for the 2012 California accreditation and licensure survey, as well as for anyone looking for the most updated CALS information on medical staff responsibilities. Chiefs of staff, department and committee chairs, quality-management personnel, and medical staff directors and coordinators are encouraged to attend.

Registration information is available online at http://www.imq.org or call Leslie Anne Iacopi at (415) 882-5167 or liacopi@imq.org. SFMS/CMA members are eligible for a discounted rate.
